Youth Cricket

Aldborough Cricket Club provides free youth cricket coaching for boys and girls aged 7 - 17. The club’s ECB Level II Coach, Mike Cramp, works with the youth players to enhance their cricketing abilities. All coaching sessions are run on Aldborough Green.

Coaching

Coaching sessions for 2013 will run as follows:

Under 13 Boys & Under 15 Girls

Coaching sessions will run on Monday evenings from 6:15pm – 7:45pm. the first session will be on Monday 22nd April and the final session will be on Monday 1st July. Sessions will run every Monday (weather permitting) except on Monday 6th May, Monday 27th May and Monday 17th June.

Over 13 Boys & Over 15 Girls

Coaching sessions will run on Thursday evenings from 6:15pm – 8:00pm. The first session will be on Thursday 25th April and the final session will be on Thursday 22nd August. Sessions will run every Thursday (weather permitting) except on Thursday 20th June.

Cricketing age is determined by the date of the child at 31st August of the preceding year, so if your child was  aged 13 (Boys) or 15 (Girls) on 31st August 2012, they should attend the Thursday evening training sessions. 

Registration

If your child is interested in receiving cricket coaching at Aldborough Cricket Club, please complete a Junior Registration Form and return to Mike Cramp, 9 Larks Place, Dereham, Norfolk, NR20 3UA. Copies of the Junior Registration Form are available via this website, or by contacting Mike Cramp (see Club Contacts).

It is essential that the club knows certain information and has the consent of a child’s legal parent/guardian before offering youth coaching. The club further requests that parents take responsibility for ensuring that their child is dropped off and picked up by a responsible adult at the start and end of each coaching session.
