It was confirmed over the weekend that Aldborough CC will return to the Norfolk Alliance next year for the first time in 15 years. The hard work of Chairman Tim Knight, Secretary Mike Cramp, Club Captain Paul Reeve and 2nd XI Captain Sean Cannon combined with the efforts of a strong committee and ever improving playing staff has meant that after the double loss of cricketing stalwarts Ron Dobbie and Chris Lewis the club has recovered and honoured these two greats with a double promotion; congratulations to all at the club. Gentlemen,

For those who did not attend the Annual Dinner last night, it is with great pleasure and a lot of pride that I am delighted to announce and confirm that Aldborough Cricket Club have been promoted to the Norfolk Alliance and next year will be playing in Division Four. I would like to congratulate the captain, Paul Reeve, and all the players who have played for the 1st XI this year for this achievement of getting the club back into the Alliance after more than a decade.
